Here’s a quick run-down of how the “Dash” will work.

• Each ticket holder will bring home a piece of artwork.
• As guests arrive at the event, the name of the “dasher” is put in a hopper. There is one “dasher” in each couple.
• Guests are encouraged to preview the art and make a note of their favorites. All artwork will be numbered to make this easier.
• Before the “Dash” begins, every guest must be seated. Then the emcee will begin to pick names from the hopper. Names will be drawn every 15 seconds.
• Once the name is announced, that “dasher” goes to the MC, picks up their ID tag and “dashes” to their favorite piece of art. That piece of artwork is then marked “Taken” so that other “dashers” do not try to claim it.
